What is Getting in Your Way?
There are many things that keep us from accomplishing our goals and achieving our full potential. Things that deplete our energy and make it impossible to see options and gain forward momentum. Consider your list of “things I have yet to accomplish”. What is it for you - moving into a leadership role, changing jobs, starting your own business, running a marathon? It’s likely you can name at least one thing you want to accomplish but have yet to do so. What’s keeping you from accomplishing it?
Moving From the Basement to the Balcony
What a difference year makes. A year ago, I was stuck. I couldn’t see anything but the cinder blocks that form the basement - dark, dirty, windowless. Now I have a completely different view from the balcony - high, open, light and bright.
It is hard to see opportunities when you are stuck in the basement.
By sharing my experience, I hope to provide you with some ideas on how to get “unstuck” if you find yourself in that situation.
Consciousness Drives Impact
Like Einstein and many scientists who followed have told us, everything in this universe, including us, is vibrating energy. We are energetic beings, and based on how we think, feel, and act, we are constantly experiencing and sharing either anabolic energy, which works for us, or catabolic energy, which works against us. Your level of energy drives the impact you have on others.
The good news is, you can intentionally choose the level of energy you bring but, it all starts with your level of consciousness.
Respond don’t React
During my live session last week I had a great question - “How can I change the energy I show up with”? Here is my answer: Your thoughts - what you tell yourself, determine how you feel and how you feel drives the action you take and ultimately how you show up. To change how you show up, you have to first understand how your thoughts are driving your actions. Once you can do that you will be able to be more intentional about your thoughts.
