Achieve Extraordinary Results

In what areas are you holding back and settling for less? How often are you creating opportunities to overcome limitations and achieve what you truly desire? What is keeping you from tapping into your unlimited potential and allowing yourself to accomplish whatever you set your mind to?

How would it feel to consistently achieve extraordinary results?

IMAGINE. . .

. . .a time that you were at the top of your game and felt the most balanced.

What did it take to get there?

How we experience situations is dependent on the lenses or perspectives through which we see them. For example:  If you look at your ”to do” list and feel overwhelmed, you are probably looking at it through a lens that causes you to see it as being bigger than it really is.

We look at the world through 7 different energetic lenses that form our perspective. How you look at a situation either creates stress for you or not. By understanding the way people look at the world and situations, we get great insight into how we operate. By changing our “energetic lenses of awareness,” we can switch and have a different view of the same situation to a perspective that is more supportive.

How does this happen?

The key is to understand where it all starts.

We all enter the world without an opinion or belief about anything. Through our entire lives, influences of the world help form the core beliefs, values, and filters through which we experience the world around us.

Consider, what are some of the influencers that shaped your belief system?

As you are presented with situations, you pass them through the filters of your belief system and core values. When they are in alignment, you judge them to be positive and good. When they go against your view, you may judge them to be negative or bad.

For Example: I have always believed that you must work hard to get ahead. When I encountered others on the job that didn’t work hard, I would judge their dedication. In reality, that likely wasn’t true at all.

As our beliefs and values become established, we function on “auto pilot,” until we begin to experience dissonance and question them. Since many of our beliefs and values are given to us by others, we have the opportunity to evaluate the degree to which they support or hold us back. As a result, we can choose to make adjustments that align our beliefs with our true selves.

Your beliefs determine how you show up in different situations.

Thoughts > Feelings > Actions

Our thoughts and judgments around situations are related to our belief system, values, and every influencer in our lives. These thoughts are related to the feelings we experience and as a result, the way we react or respond.

Your thoughts, feelings, and actions can either set you up for success or hold you back.

For Example:

  • If you believe that you are powerful, creative, and capable, you might feel confident and peaceful. As a result, you are more likely to take on challenges to stretch yourself.

  • If you believe you are average, limited, or vulnerable, you might feel worry or fear. As a result, you may stay in your comfort zone and resist change.

In order to sustain success, the first step is to recognize the thoughts and feelings that get in our way then explore the impact of them. The awareness of unsupportive thoughts can lead us to challenging the perspectives that created them, and ultimately changing perspective.

Everything is Energy. .

. . .and that’s all there is to it. Match the frequency of the reality you want and you cannot help but get that reality. It can be no other way. This is not philosophy. This is physics. ~unknown

Everything is composed of energy, including our thoughts! The lenses you see the world through creates your reality.

For example, if you view the world as an angry place, you will see situations and make interpretations that support your point of view. What you look for, you will find.

Also…others with a similar point of view may be drawn to you. So if you notice you are surrounded by drama, explore what is drawing them to you.

Where your focus goes, energy flows.

There are two different types of energy: Catabolic & Anabolic.

Catabolic energy shows up in the form of stress. When we PERCEIVE a situation as being stressful, we may feel fear, doubt, worry, overwhelm, frustration, anger, resentment, or entitlement. When this happens, your brain signals your body to generate catabolic hormones (cortisol & adrenaline) in order to give you the energy to deal with the situation. The energy comes from the very cells and tissues of your body. This extra energy allows you to move to action, but long term stress can impact your wellbeing as it exhausts your physical, mental, and emotional resources. When you are experiencing catabolic energy, your focus is on the pain or problem. Catabolic energy isn’t bad…It’s just an indicator of stress that is draining you. If you can get to the root of it, you can release it.

Anabolic energy is not stressful. Without stress, your body generates anabolic hormones. The purpose of these hormones is to heal the body, build tissue, and generate cells. This allows the body to optimize itself. As a result, it s easier to maintain a solution focus and feel energized. As a result, it propels you forward to new possibilities and opportunities.

Energetic Self Perception Chart.PNG

Energetic Self Perception Chart

The Energetic Self-Perception Chart illustrates the 7 energetic lenses through which we experience situations.

  • Levels 1 & 2 are catabolic and show up as stress.

  • Levels 3-7 are anabolic.

In addition to the 7 energetic lenses, this chart shows how our thoughts, feelings, and actions can be associated with each energy level.

During the course of any given day, you will experience all the energy levels. How do you show up in your life?

Has anyone been cut off in traffic? Has anyone been cut off while driving a car?  Let’s look at that as an illustration of the levels to make it real.

Level 1 (Victim) – I always get cut off; this always happens to me (blame myself)

Level 2 (Antagonist) – You stupid idiot – I’ll show you! (blame the other guy)

Level 3 (Rationalizer) – Wow…that was a close call. He probably drives like a maniac all the time. It must be tough being him. We’re both ok; all is forgiven.

Level 4 (Helper) – Wow…poor guy must have some kind of family emergency going on. Hope he gets where he’s going safely and that everything is ok for him and his family.

Level 5 (Collaborator) – Wow…that was a close all. Glad we didn’t have an accident. What a great opportunity to exercise patience…and to know that my reflexes still work!

Level 6 (Connector) – Just another day out on the road, experiencing all that life has to offer

Level 7 (Creator) – What traffic?

You Can Change your Pattern of Behavior

Stop, breathe. . .and be the observer of your thoughts!

Your day is just a string of stimuli that has no meaning other than what your perception assigns it.  How you view a situation will either create stress (catabolic) or not (anabolic). The key is to become aware of the lens that you use by default then choose the one that supports and propels you forward.

  • What is the thought I am having about this situation?

  • Why am I having it right now?

  • What is the real reason that I am triggered?

  • How is it making me feel?

  • How am I acting because of it?

This process helps you to take responsibility for your actions and to be able to make a choice. Make this process your new habit by doing this over and over with each situation. Look at the situation from all angles.

You have a choice in how you respond.

Action is preceded by a thought and feeling so become an observer of the situation. Now that you have an awareness around energy levels, you can go into any situation, recognize your energy, and make split second decisions on what you would like to do. You can no longer be asleep at the wheel and not acknowledge your own behavior. Take responsibility for yourself! If you think you are going in the “wrong” direction, you can stop and change direction at any time!

Imagine. . .

. . .a method for identifying who you really are and who you choose to be.

. . .the capability to consciously recognize when you are reacting to life’s circumstances, even in the most challenging moments, and know how to choose exactly how you want to act.

. . . the ability to see opportunities when others see problems, and to see what’s right, instead of what’s wrong.

. . .an approach for literally re-writing the rules for your life and multiple processes for integrating these new rules so that they become who you are and how you live!

What you want is achievable!

  • Eliminate resistance and inner blocks

  • Identify the core beliefs that hold you back

  • Consciously redesign those beliefs so they fuel you and help you work toward your full potential
